newbie redhawk owner with questions

What do I need to do to sanitize before we head out this weekend? I read the manual but dang it can be so confusing sometimes.
also I can't get the filter housing to come loose. Feels like I'm gonna pop loose the pipes. What's up with that?
How does one drain the hot water tank? I keep reading about draining it for winterizing.
Going ot Grand Isle for weekend for first outing but going West in July for a month. Can't wait! And the question that every one likes: spare tire or not?
Thanks for your help yall.

Put about 1/2 cup UF std bleach in the fresh tank and fill with water. Run all faucets till you smell the bleach. Let sit for a few hours, drain fresh tank with low point/tank drains, refill and run all faucets till nice and fresh. Should have a plastic filter wrench in your Jayco bag or somewhere for the filter. Water heater is behind outside door and may have a square plug installed. Ours was purchased in winter so the plug was in the Jayco bag. If yours is in, remove and drain. Check that the water heater bypass valves are set to non winterized position before running water heater. Manual has some photos of this that may help.

Another question, the water connections on the outside, top one is for shore water and bottom one is for potable (water pump) fill, right?

On our 26xd the top fill is the black tank flush and the bottom is the city fill.

Bathroom Mirror?

Anyone with a 26xd know if the mirror is glued to the wall besides the six bracket screws?

With my early stage dementia had to go out and look at the water inlets. One of ours was built on a Monday morning.
