No pressure city water

Hi all,
I am currently camping hooked up to city water in my Greyhawk the pressure is really low just trickling out of the faucets. Turned the valves to the correct positions and reversed the screen on the inlet. Any ides what could be wrong?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to be Cap'n Obvious - but if you unscrew the hose - you've got good pressure???

Hose kinked?

I know you said "Yes" - but valves are right?

What about the filter? Any chance it's clogged?

You shouldn't need to reverse the screen if you've got good pressure going in.

Another common complaint is trash in the lines. Try removing the screens on each faucet and run a little out before replacing the cleaned screen.

I believe there is a check valve at the city water connection right behind the inlet screen. Did you check for proper function there?

The hose is not kinked, there is good pressure at each end. The filter is brand new last week, the faucets have good pressure with the pump. The only thing I can think of is the pressure regulator at the inlet.

Do you have a fresh water tank with some water in? If so I would switch my valves and see if this works. If successful you can rule out the coach as a problem and can focus on the water supply from the tap, then the hose, check your water regulator to be sure there is no foreign object stuck in the hole, check filter, filter check valve and finally the valves that they are actually turning. I have seen instances that the handle loosens up and appear to turn but the valve doesn't ( not sure what valves are on your unit ).

Good luck.

I carry a water pressure gauge for checking pressure at various locations. Something like that may help you isolate the problem.

It could be your own pressure regulator not working properly on your hose line to the trailer. Either choked or damaged. Not sure if thats what you meant when you said checked both ends. disconnect it from the trailer and let it flow through with the pressure reg on the end of the hose. If thats still runing fine then look at the connection to the trailer and see if something is there blocking it.

As filter was changed last week, was it put on-line? (isolation valves open on both sides of filter)

Had that bonehead moment last summer. We hooked up the water filter backwards and the water wouldn't flow. Hahaha- took a few moments but we finally figured it out after checking everything else.
Happy RVing,
Jeff
