Precepts blue tooth

Paired my phone to the blue tooth in our 2015un. Works except when I answer nobody hears me. What did I miss? Is there a hidden mike someplace or a switch to turn on?

The microphone is not installed. You dealer needs to install it for you. You may find it in the bag that your manuals came in.

The mic for mine was in the bag with all the manuals. I think Jayco views the mic installation location as a personal choice, and leaves it to the owner to install where he/she likes. Everyone I know of had there's in the instruction bag as well.

Yes I believe so. I haven't done mine yet.

I can tell you it is much MUCH easier to access the back of the radio by removing the 4 black screws that hold the brownish wood grainy plastic shroud and carefully pulling it forward, than trying to remove the head unit as the Jensen instructions say. You're less likely to disconnect something via this route as well.

Tks Joe, found the mic and went online to view picture of back of radio. Found where it plugs in. Think I can reach in and plug it with a small mirror and flashlight from under dash.

Jayco covers the installation of the mic by your dealer under warranty as many of these left Jayco not installed as they should have been. Just call Jayco Customer Service / Warranty and they will confirm this.

I just had my mic installed by the dealer. I had them run the mic up the left side of the windshield so it is near my head to pick up my voice. They did a nice job. It's a warranty item as it should have been done as part of prep.
