Propane help

I have the grill below and we just got a 2012 Greyhawk 31DS. The Greyhawk does have the propane quick connect which was originally for the small grill it came with. I'd like to hook up my current grill to the quick connect if possible. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

KiltDog, does that grill have a regulator on it like the one I posted?

Yes, the original hose had a regulator at the tank end similar to yours. The new hose kit is a direct replacement, you unscrew the hose where it attaches to the grill body and just connect the new. The new one doesn't have a regulator since you use the rv regulator. Here is the kit i used:

http://www.homedepot.com/p/Brinkmann...27-S/203016478

This hose did not fit the quick connect from jayco, but it includes a new one and installation was easy. The only other thing I would recommend it the yellow teflon tape for gas threaded connections, cost a couple bucks extra.

Ahhh!! I see said the blind man!!! So just change out the hose on the grill like you said. Then just remove the quick connect coupler that is currently on the Greyhawk and replace it with the one from the kit. Correct??

That's what I did. Works perfectly for me.

The link to Home Depot says that hose if for natural gas, you are running propane - could that be the issue?

Not as long as you use it on the low pressure side as kiltdog did.

You can also get the hose made for the camp chef grills, it will work on the quick connect, and it will fit your grill. I have the camp chef grill, I also just bought a BBQ grill similar to the one in the photo. I just ordered another hose, you can get them at a lot of the sporting good stores, from camp chef directly, or you can get them from Walmart only via the online order, they ship free to their store nearest to you.

Flyrotor is right on. This was my first preference as well. Due to timing (and probably poor planning) I didn't have the option of waiting for shipping and I couldn't find the camp chef accessorie in stock locally.
