Congratulations on the Greyhawk. We put 12,000 miles on ours last year and loved every minute of it!

I have been reading and researching here for a few weeks. Hellwig adjustment will be my first mod/task. Then Slide toppers, valve stem extensions and a TPMS system. Will need to create some 12v ports for charging electronics. Solar and a larger battery bank are a long term goal/plan.

Very excited to actually have our own bed and a door.

Any pointers for the PDI/Demo day that we need to make sure we have them show us? I am making my own list based off of reading here, but want to see if you have specific suggestions.

Thanks

A few mod ideas. -- upgrade the fire extinguishers. Hope you never need it. CW has a good 2.5 pound unit. We added two up front and moved the unit that came with the rig to the bedroom. We changed our rear valve stems to brass and added the TST TPMS. Got he best deal ordering directly from them with a 3 year warranty. Make sure your dealer has the rig aligned and request a copy of the report for your records. Finally we added a Privressive Industries wired in EMS / surge protector. Have fun. Be safe !

Film / record the whole thing, also take still shots of specific areas. We learned the hard way before, then with this one, we filmed and recordrd the whole thing. After we made it home, we noticed a spot on the rear ladder where the unit had been hit by something, making a dent on the ladder and slightly bending the mounting brackets. We checked the film from the walk through, found that the dent was already there, and used the film and still shot of the ladder when we asked them to send me a new ladder and pay for it to be installed. They did not argue at all. Drop shipped me a new one and paid camping world to install it. I was 14 hours away from my dealer at the time.

We used an iPod to film and record the entire delivery walk through inspection.

Good luck,
Steve

Congrats and enjoy....on the PDI ask question if you do not understand. Taping it is a great idea as you can look back and see how things were done.

I would inspect all the drain connections under the sinks, ensure they are tight. Including the one under the shower. Mine was only barely tightened and was a leak source. Also check the hot water system with city water connected. Check all pipes, especially at the water heater for leaks.

Hear any rattles coming from the front cab doors? I have, after two years, finally narrowed down a rattle to inside the drivers side door. Window mechanism. Drive the unit with them on board and listen for anything abnormal for a class c.

Ditto comment on alignment. Unit will need a good alignment.

Just asked the dealer who I should send a copy of my enhanced PDI list to. I have been adding elements you all have listed to the TT PDI list posted elsewhere on the forum.

Thanks so much!
