Purging air from Equalizer Leveling

I talk to a troubleshooting Rep from Equalizer and he said I need to purge the air from system, to purge air you have to extend all jacks to full extension raising the camper off the ground. I am worried when you raise the rear end you will loose emergency brake and the camper will shift and bend a jack. The camper is setting on level ground. I wanted to check and see if anybody else has done this and has some pointers to follow.

I have done this on our 2014 37FS without problem. My driveway is relatively flat, raised it off the ground for 30 minutes, then returned to earth right back into my wheel chocks. The Big Foot Leveler Tech was extremely helpful.
