Radio Randomly Turns On

Greetings everyone.

I am having a wierd problem and I was wondering if its just me and if not is there anything that can be done to stop this.

When I am storing my RV, I plug it into house power. I power everything down except the fridge so that it stays cool. I turn the radio off. Then a few hours later I will walk out of my house and my radio has just turned itself back on, but not just on it turns the volume up to 15. To combat this I started to turn it down and just leave it on but when I don't have it plugged in, it will drain my battery.
So I tried a test last night. I turned the volume down to 1 and then turned the radio off. This morning when I woke up, the radio was on and volume was on 15.
Can anyone help with this, or do I just have gremlins that live in my RV.

Thanks

It may be that your alarm is set to go off. I had same problem and it was the alarm, check that

it's a pretty common problem. Someone pushed the alarm button on the radio.

I'm glad I found this thread. The exact same thing happens in my brand new 2015 Greyhawk 31DS. Where is the "alarm button"? Thanks in advance for your help.

Somewhere on the front panel of the radio.

Hmmm, interesting thread. My Winnebago had a Jensen TV that would turn on by itself. No alarm. The fix was a unit that ASA Electronics sent me to flash the TV (plugged it into the VGA port). Worked fine after updating the TV's firmware.

Our Jensen in the 23B would also turn itself on. Was not the alarm. Talked w/ Jayco and they sent me a replacement which solved the problem.

Is this still a problem as my Jensen in the dash turns on, is it a replace or is there a local fix?

There was no actual "alarm" button on my radio. I had to go into the menu function and select SETTINGS, then the WEATHER BAND sub menu, AUTO ALARM off. That turns off the weather alarm and no more ghostly NOAA notifications. Fixed the problem for me.

We have a brand new 2015 greyhawk and just got a new navigation system replaced last Friday after only one trip in it back up camera quit. Today the radio was just blaring. It was off and locked up! Gonna check this alarm button out. Sick of the problems already. Thanks for the heads up.

Jensen radios are about as cheap as they come. Mine has problems too, display flickers, I have to pull the entire thing out of the mount and disconnect the 12 volt system to get it straightened out and then it works for awhile.

Thanks for the note on where the alarm is found even on that I would have assumed the weather NOAA alert would be result not the music. I did not get a manual or the metal devices to pull the radio and need to find out why I have no aux inputs.
