283g e-450 chassis, the rollers are on extensions, are the extensions required? I can't go across a road with any rise at all without the rollers dragging. I would like to remove the extensions and the plate and bolt the rollers to the bottom of the hitch.
I think this will help a lot. In most of New Mexico, I couldn't drive into most filling stations or parking lots because of the rise in the road at the transition to the business's parking areas.

A lot of motorhomes tend to be heavy on the back. Installing Air Bag support will help to raise the rear. If you're handy they are easy to install.

Mine sits very level, I'm happy with the ride, I had bags on both my class A's I owned (P-30's). The fronts had to be replaced every several years and were a pia.
I'm glad this 450 is without them and sprung heavy enough to not need them.
The main problem seems to be the overhang to the rear and the geometry involved when the front raises and the back lowers from the rear wheel pivot point. The motorhome sits 14" off the pavement.
