Just touch the power button on the camera when moving forward. Very easy

In the 2015, you have to have the power to the camera come from either a hot wire coming from the ignition, or any 12v fused hot wire that you want (if it's always hot, you have to remember to turn the camera off - ignition is better).

The 2015 model has the camera powered from the hot wire that goes to the back-up lights, so it's only on in reverse. That was fixed in the 2016 model.

No, we got the smaller unit (26XD) specifically so there would be no need to tow. When we stay in campgrounds for a week or more, we call Enterprise and they come to the campground and get us. MUCH cheaper than paying for a toad, and all of the costs associated with one! If we stay in a remote campground (State or Federal parks) we're there to relax, and seldom go anywhere... usually just hike or bike.

Because the 2016 has a 6 speed transmission, we usually get a bit over 10MPG (at around 62 MPH)

I'll worry a bit out loud - Jayco might have been using a camera supplier in 2013 that's since gone out of business. Just a worry, hopefully wrong. I think what I'd do is climb up there and see if I can pull it off. If so, I'd look at the wiring used. If it's some connections I'd recognize as "standard" then I'd just find a wired, waterproof camera on line and plug it in.

But the site mod just posted a link to https://www.jaycorvparts.com/. You might try calling and chatting with them. Perhaps they know what you need?

Have you tried calling Jayco directly?
