Jagvin is correct. If by chance you have your gas light on the refrigerator/freezer flashing, which means it is not using propane, then the likely culprit is air in the propane line. This may happen when the propane tank is filled for the first time or a new propane tank is installed. If this happens, turn off the refrigerator/freezer then go to gas only for 30 seconds. The refrigerator will try and ignite and start cooling. If this doe not resolved it, do in a couple of more times. Another way to get air out of the propane line is to light the propane gas stove. If the flame is not all blue, let it run for a minute or two until the flame is blue. This last approach was recommended by the place we purchased our motor home and it fixed the problem. Hope it helps.
