Roof Care

I have owned my 02 Grey Hawk for about 4 years. I don't know much about it's former life. It came with a RV cover, so I assume the previous owner had it covered. I want to know what I should do to the roof material to preserve it. What do you do to your roof? Thanks stan

Keep it clean. I wash mine twice a year with Dawn soap and water and soft brush.
Also you need to check the seams and all the caulking and if cracked, go over it with more self leveling caulk. You might want to consider covering the caulking with Eternabond tape instead, then you can pretty much forget about it as that stuff works forever and sticks to roof and caulk. Eternabond is my next big mod/project on my TT.
Happy RVing,
Jeff
