Roof Sat connection 2012 Greyhawk 31SF

I'm about to install an in motion satellite dome on my rv. Behind the main tv there is a plate with plugs labeled "roof sat" with LNB1 and LNB2 inputs. I pulled the panel off and there is a white and a grey coax cables hooked to them. I can see where the enter the ceiling. I can not for the life of me figure out where they go from there. I have pulled the roof speakers and the antenna crank and still have no idea. I tried to run a bore scope up the hole with no luck. I've been all over the roof and there is no sign of a dish ever being installed before. Is this a factory prewire and if so where does it go? It would be awesome if I didn't have to chase new coax for the dome.

I've read from others that you can contact Jayco and they will tell you where the cables are in the roof. You measure, drill a hole and fish then out.

Sometimes the wire is embeded in the styrofoam. That's how it was on our 08 SENECA.

Following up. I contacted Jayco and within a few hours I had Ac and Dc wiring diagrams for the Rv. And the satellite prep diagram with all the measurements. The factory satellites prep coax cables terminates just forward for the ac unit in the middle. Only issue it there isn't a chase to route the interface cables. So I've decied to abandon the factory prep and just run the cables into the cabinet above the dinette and then into the tv area just forward if that. I'd rather not cut two holes in the roof. One is plenty.

Glad to hear that JAYCO is still sending out PDF's on request. Occasionally hear others not getting a quick response like this...

what's the Interface cable?
Is it something specific to the dish you're buying?

Those wires are usually there too as part of pre-wiring.

The system I purchased is a King Dome im3200. It has the two coax cables and a cable that has the power wires and a line almost like a cat5 only it has 6 wires not 8. That extra wire plugs into the inside control panel. There is no way to run it beside the satellite prep setup. The King Dome can be configured to work with Dish DIRECTtv and a few others. The different service providers use different satellites so you need this to tell the dish what satellites to point at.

Ah - thanks!

I pulled up a manual for the Winegard Roadtrip and only saw the two coax runs.

I got a steal on this unit never installed but second hand. It was about a third the cost from anywhere else. That's the only reason I went this way.
