Securing things to wall/shower

Question for you guys. My shower head holder came out of wall! What type of screw do you recommend for putting it back in, and in general what do yall use to secure things to inside walls? I have used pop riveter for some applications, but what if I want things a little more securely placed? Thanks in advance!

cannot help with the screw issue to much. I just found a location that had a factory screw, removed it, and measured it, to buy the Kreg screws. The reason I went with Kreg screws is that they have the same head style and use the same #2 square drive bit. Just makes doing maintenance in the field easier (less tools to have on hand).

As for securing things to the walls, I use command strips/hooks. They hold up well. We have them in the shower, on the paneling, even outside on the fiberglass wall. I did learn that the paneling has some type of coating on it, and you need to wipe it down first of the strip will not hold, I found that Goof-Off and isopropyl alcohol works nicely, water does not!

Goop helps hold a lot of things securely, with and without screws, velcro or clips.

We have used Command Strips and Hooks for years and they are still well attached. Plus they come off easily to relocate and leave no residue. Have 3 Big Command hooks in the shower that work great with 4 or 5 more in various bathroom locations.
we are well hung....lol.
Happy RVing,
Jeff
