Seneca 37HJ

Greetings Campers,

Does anyone know why the 2015/16 Jayco Seneca 37HJ only has a 33 gallon black tank? The other models have a 50 gallon except for the 37RB that has a 64 gallon.

Best Regards,

Nick

Nick, a wild guess would be the floor plan caused it to happen that way. I noticed that too when looking and when my wife said she like the layout of the 36FK better I was quick to agree with her.

Walt..thanks I also sent Jayco an email, we won't be doing much boondocking so I guess it's between the 37RB and the 37HJ.

Best Regards,

Nick

Nick, my experience has been I use more grey water waste than black. I am too new to the Seneca to know just how long my boon docking stay would be with the on board tanks. My guess about 21 days with the two of us. I am sure you could easily go longer. Our 5th wheel only had a 40 gallon tank and would dump at the end of 28 days which was about as long as I wanted to stay in one spot. I am not overly concerned with the small black water tank. We bought the HJ because we liked the configuration.

Old Skipper, agree with you. Would have preferred 50 grey and 40 black but Jayco did it the other way round on the 36FK.

RB is interesting with 1.5 baths. Looks like it makes sense with younger kids or lots of non-overnight guests. Not sure I want everyone coming thru the master to take a shower. What is the most popular of all the models? The TS looks interesting with two slides in the main living area.
