Seneca Bully Dog Medium Duty Tuner

The wife and I have decided to sell the Seneca and move on to a DP. I'm going to miss the coach, no complaints with the Seneca as this is my second one. The wife misses the large front windshield and prefers more room while traveling in the front seats.

I performed many modifications to the Seneca including working with Bully Dog to develop the Medium Duty Tuner. I shipped my ECM to Bully Dog so they could "fine tune" the calibration for the Medium Duty used in an RV application.

If you have a Scangauge this unit will replace it as it can be used for additional gauges. Once the tune is loaded the unit can be removed and your Scanguage can be retained if desired. The Bully Dog comes with a Ram Mount and necessary cables.

The tuner provides you with options from economy to max power. Of course I only used the max power setting. I towed a 24' trailer loaded from California to the Oregon sand dunes with many steep grades along Interstate 5. The unit pulled 5 MPH faster up the grades than without the tune and netted an average of 9.5 MPG.

Ever since I picked up the Seneca in Indiana the Allison transmission never shifted correctly, the trans would short shift at 2100 RPM rather than winding out to 2500-2600 RPM as commanded. I wanted to get the trans reprogramed before I installed the new tune (concerned about any warranty issues) but didn't.

After I shipped the ECM to Bully Dog for testing and installed the tune I took the coach to the local Cummins/Allison dealer to reprogram the transmission. The tech and I drove around for hours making changes to the transmission program, I asked him if he could see if the tune had been "modified". Based on his software he couldn't see anything. Perfect!

The units sell for $799.00 I'll sell this one for $500.00.
