Seneca delivery from rv one

Picked up my 37ts from Albany rv last Saturday and have to say it went extremely well. The prep department had gone through the complete unit and tested all components. So we were able to run through these items quickly. The two or three items I requested be repaired were done so quickly and no hesitation on their part.

The front entertainment system tv struts were forty lb struts and the tv would fling up at the slightest touch or shake in the coach. They replaced these with lighter struts and this seemed to solve the issue.

Needed to reinforce the mud flap in front of the dually wheels, took them about 5 minutes.

The unit was fully fueled up, def tank full as well as the propane.

Water pump and heater worked as expected

Refer was on and cold so I had a place for my refreshments.

I really can not think of any issue during the delivery. Had fun ride home and had to stop at Home Depot to plug the screw holes on the mirrors, I had not noticed it previously but this was my first time driving it alone so no other people talking or music etc.

Spend the weekend at a friends home and everything worked great. First time you run through the trees and hear the sound of the tree branches thumping on the roof can be heart stopping.

Only issue I found when I returned home on Monday was a drawer clip had come off and the drawer had flung open and damaged the bottom of the drawer. Good thing I build furniture and can repair quickly as it would be a pain to return it to the store for something like this.

Congratulations Paul. So glad everything went well. That sure is a beautiful camper you got there.

We will be headed in your direction on or around July 26.

Enjoy your new RV and keep us posted on what you learn.

Thanks Mark and Robbbyr I know you can help me spend my kids inheritance like no one else. I am starting with hooking up the progressive industries surge protector. Air horn soon enough.

Fun.

We just sent our paperwork in today; it was sent overnight so we are looking forward to setting up our delivery date. They send you those pictures, and that is such a tease.

What are the orange things on the corners of your slides?

It's a very gorgeous rig, Paul. We have the same colors.

The orange things are a cut up swimming noddle. The rig is so high it is easy to bump into the corners and I wanted to offer some protection until I remember not to run into the corners.

The end is in sight for you, I hope you enjoy it. One more week?

I strongly recommend Seneca owners get and use these, I have run into my slides several times working on it in the driveway. The first time (without the noodles) I hit it so hard I went down and was bloodied. The bedroom slide on my TS is the worst!

Just incorporate it into your closeup routine so you don't forget them!

YEP!!! A necessary item. I used swimming pool noodles, also. I put them a foot up and all along bottom of slides. The corners are the worse, but smacking your head while raising from a compartment, also creates a moment.

Wife said watch what color of noodles to buy, because red will fade to pink, so bought bright yellow and bright pink and color hasn't faded yet. First thing on when slides are out, last thing off before slides go in. Works great!

Dollar General Stores are a great source of color and supply.

Congratulations! Beautiful Coach! I purchased my Precept from Albany, but had to pick up in Buffalo, My delivery in Buffalo was not a good experience, glad to hear yours was much better in Albany.

Safe Travels!

Gorgeous fun machine! Hope you have a safe, reliable, and enduring relationship! Noodles are also good wiper sock hacks when in storage. Best mod bang for the buck so far for us was the central filling station for the house batteries.
