I drove my Seneca to right about 1/4 tank yesterday. Put 29 gallons in passenger tank and 11 gallons in drivers side. Do you all fill them up all the way?

I installed the m2 tank extensions and fill both tanks up to the tube. Gives me about 400 to 450 miles using generator. The generator uses about 4 to 5 gallons during the drive.

I generally do. One thing you may notice is that the nozzles click off early because they stick down into tank quite a bit. If you hold them up a bit and go slow you can get several more gallons in each tank without compromising the air space above the fuel and possibly leaking out the tank vents.

To make it even easier a fellow Seneca owner manufacturers and sells a tank extension that allows easier, more complete filling. The extensions also keep you from beating up the fiberglass around the fuel fills. The extensions are called "Extendafill", here is a link to Gord's site: https://extendafill.com/

Here's what the Extendafill looks like on the truck.

2017 Seneca 3tTS...yesterday my low fuel light came on at 422 miles plus about 2hrs of generator run. Drove to 473 miles and filled up..48.19 gallons. Seems to be fairly typical for my rig. I rely more in the Scan Gauge for fuel consumption.

Me2. And the good old trip odometer for owners who may not have a Scan Gauge. I've had the tank senders replaced to supposedly fix gauge inaccuracy to no avail.

Our M2 Senecas allegedly have a 74 gallon (40+34) fuel capacity. On my ScanGauge I enter 60 gallons as my “fill up” but the most I’ve ever put in is 50 ish gallons. We all seem to fill up at 400-500 miles but I really wonder what our true range is.
Has anyone ever put in 60 plus gallons?

Ps. Extendafills are one of the best additions to my Seneca
