Seneca M2 CB antenna location

I might have asked this before somewhere else, but cant find it. Who can tell me where the connector for the CB radio is? I would prefer to not rip apart my entire dash looking for it, so hopefully here someone knows exactly where I can go looking for it.

On mine (2014) it was located behind the heater/AC controls. Removed the screws and the controls and the splitter box was there. Had a connection marked "CB".

The one mirror antenna is AM/FM/CB, the box splits the signal. The CB connection was not what I remember (large) from when I did have a CB, it is smaller. But other owners have said it is an easy adapter to find.

May I suggest you take the dash apart and learn how it comes off, pretty easy. I've had my dash apart about 3 times. Once to install the SiriusXM receiver, once to reset the radio / back up camera and once to install some extra 12 volt plugs. Actually, I'd suggest taking it apart in a nice, quiet, sedate environment with lots of time. Good way to learn about your truck, for when you do need to get in there and fix something. Besides, its pretty comfortable working conditions.

On our 2015, the connection is where Rob described - behind the AC / Heat controls on the dash. The connector is "mini-UHF" so you'll likely need an adapter. I found this adapter on Amazon:

DHT Electronics RF coaxial adapter MINI-UHF male to UHF SO239 PL259 connector

Can you please explain how you reset the cameras. My passenger side camera is not working. Wondering if I just need to reset. Thanks for your help.

Our Seneca cameras are all wired directly to the Radio/Head Unit in the dash. The connector is a 4-pin that supplies power and video. Removing power to your dash head unit should power down the cameras, or you might have to pull the head unit and check the camera connector - it is a mess of wires back there.

You can look at this thread to see the pictures... https://www.jaycoowners.com/forums/f...ild-64024.html

Is there any benefit these days to having a CB radio in your coach? Does anyone have one or use it often? Haven’t seen anyone other than truckers use them since the 1970’s.
