Seneca Mod added 13.1 Cu-Ft of additional storage

Are you looking for way to stow those long an bulky items in your outdoor storage bins? I was frustrated that the Seneca did not have any storage that went all the way across the coach to store Canoe Paddles, Large Folding chairs and one-piece fishing poles.. but alas - it can!

After opening up our 36FK and looking behind the blind panels, there is a ton of wasted space being used up by a tangled mess of electrical wire harness sprawled carelessly along the floor of a compartment 43"x48" that is hidden between the side compartments right behind the battery compartment.

I spent an hour raising the harness and attaching it to the bottom of the floor (the top of the storage compartment) with electrical cable ties (made specifically for this purpose). After it was all suspended, I took off the blind panels on both sides and have a fully pass thru compartment that is between the main compartments and is 11" tall after all.

I've got the same waste of space in my 37FS. Never thought to suspend the harnesses from the ceiling. Great idea!! I think I'll tackle this come Spring.

What was the length of the screws you used to attach the zip ties you used to hang the wiring harness?

I don't remember exact length, but there are areas where it feels like only foam. Can prod and find wood to screw into.

I used 3/4 inch #8 flat head screws.. the Wire-Tie takes 1/4 inch, so that leaves a half inch into the flooring bottom.
