I should have read ALL the previous posts...sorry about that. I missed that in the stream I was in. No questions on the snap mounting now. But still curious about privacy aspect. You still need the inside privacy curtain?!

Did they mount the snaps right into the exterior? I just got the heat shields in Gold and am pleased, but would love a camping exterior cover (like I had on my Class C before). Does this shield also provide privacy at night? (It appears see through to an extent like the sun shades in the windows). Would this be easy to do myself if I ordered the same thing from RV Sunshades?

No privacy at night. We just hung a blanket off the bed above the cab for privacy.
