Seneca Wiper Blades

Was driving home from work yesterday in the Seneca and there was just enough rain for me to need the wipers. The result was horrible, looked like someone put oil on the windshield. This is the first time I drove the Seneca in the rain so I was unsure of what it would be like.

I am going to clean the outside of the windshield and make sure there was nothing on it. However, I thought I could just search and order up some high quality Michelin blades but I saw no such results. Need to drive to WV tomorrow for work next week and they are predicting rain. Any suggestions? What wiper blades are you using and who do you get them from?

I don't have a Seneca, but did you search for "Freightliner M2"? I see a few hits for blades on Autozone.com

Rain-X

They are not special mounting or anything - I don't remember the length but any auto parts or even Wally World will have them - I like the Rain-X wipers and the Rain-x washer fluid combination - IMHO Les7h

I use and replace every 6 months 22" M2 wiper blades by Anco 31 Series or Trico 30 Series from Autozone or JC Witney

X 2 on 22" wipers. Also, I am a dedicated user of Rain-X, makes most rain just sheet off and when you do use the wipers, they work great.

Getting to the windshield can be interesting, I tip the hood and climb up on the tires to reach the center. Also how I get to the wipers to change them.

I just went to Autozone and got a pair of quality 22" wipers and they fit perfectly.

I use 22" Goodyear Hybird's from Costco, they have them on sale a few times a year. Just by coincidence they happen to be the same size for my 2015 Ford Superduty.

Went to Walmart and purchased a pair of Michelin blades and they went on super easy. Worked great through the rain at the VA foothills. Thank you all for your help!

It's difficult to 'search' online for them as most automated blade finders don't recognize the M2. They are for sure 22" blades and take the standard J hook. I messed up and bought European style on Amazon (thinking I was getting a good deal at $14 for a set of premium Michellins) and now have an extra set that I have no clue what to do with!!!

I ended up going with TRICO Force blades. They have a little wing on them that creates more downforce on the blade as it travels (could be snake oil). -They seem to do a very good job at getting the schmoo off the glass, though; so I'll keep buying them.

First time we used our wipers (in the Seattle area), the blades FELL OFF. Whoever installed them didn't get them clicked into place. Luckily when they fell, they were trapped in the wiper arm, so we pulled off to a ramp and were able to get them clicked back on properly...

When we have periods of dry weather (had 50+ days without rain this summer), I have to wash the grime off the blades as well as the windshield. I like 20/20 and RainX, both.
