Shocks/Air Bags

I've read a few threads on people going with Bilstein or Koni shocks and a few mentions of air bags.

When we towed trailers I installed air bags on the trucks and it made a huge difference in the ride quality.

We just got back from a 2,200 mile trip to/from Orlando and some of the roads were rather rough.

I feel like the front end rode okay but the back was pretty bouncy.

Any suggestions on what is the best path to take? New shocks, air bags, both? Koni or Bilstein?? Are the shocks something I can tackle or is that something a shop should handle?

We only have ~4,500 miles on the RV so the OEM ones are far from worn out.

I had Hendersons Lineup install koni shocks all round on our new 2017 Redhawk X1 made a world of difference in how it handled! They said the stock shocks were no better than you would find on a van. I'm a believer in Konis.
