Shore power problems

I have a 2011 Greyhawk 31FK. When plugged into shore power, the microwave works fine, however the AC and fridge do not. The AC and fridge run when the generator is on. Also, the fridge does not seem to cool when on propane either. The circuit breakers and fuses appear to be fine.

Any suggestions for troubleshooting? Thanks!

Transfer switch problems?

Can't be the transfer switch since the Greyhawk is a 30 amp coach and there is only one hot lead going to the buss for the circuit breakers.

The problem seems to be 12v, as both the AC and Fridge have 12v control circuits? She said AC/Fridge do not work on shore power, but do work on Genset power.

Collette, when on shorepower, do your control panel on the fridge and thermostat for the A/C have power to them?

I guess I am not knowledgable enough at the swapping that goes on when you change power supplies. Mine is seemless when swapping.

Well, we figured out our shore power problems--a discharged house battery. Took the battery in to Interstate-they kept it for 3 days and said it was fine. Well, we put the battery in last Thurs and everything has been working fine on shore power and generator--until this morning--no battery power again! While plugged shore power, shouldn't shore power provide a trickle charge to the battery? Our battery keeps going dead--any suggestions? We ensure everything is turned off and the battery disconnect is flipped.

If your battery is going dead it sounds like a bad converter or bad fuse on the converter. The converter should supply the necessary 12 volt while on shore power even with a low battery and yes it should also charge the battery.

When plugged into shore power, the converter should provide all of the needed 12VDC. You have a bad converter. It's not charging the battery and when the battery runs down all of the controls that need it stop working.

I should have also added check the circuit breaker that the converter is plugged into, it may have tripped.
