slide out topper for 2016 Greyhawk FK

Has anyone installed an awning topper over the slide out on a Greyhawk 31FK?
Not much room above the dinette window, I contacted the factory on several occasions and was given conflicting info.

We purchased a 2015 Greyhawk 31FK through Camping World and had them install a slide topper as part of our purchase package. Works terrific and so far we haven't had any issues with it, knock on wood...

Just had one installed at Whitehorse RV in New Jersey. Two hours to install and very reasonable price.

Get the slide topper as they reduce heat, look nice, keep debris off the slide and saves the top seal. Once you have it, all your future rigs will have them because you'll love it.

We just looked at a 31FK at whitehorse today. Nice unit, and the staff seems really nice also. We are 4 hours away, went to look at a used Newmar (didn't work out), and the salesperson was genuinely upset that we came that far for nothing. Ya can never tell from on line photos.

Anyway, the best price they could give me for this used 2016 31FK (barely used, looks fantastic) is 68K. I think this is a bit high for a 16, seeing that the 18's will be rolling out in April/May. What do you think? And what do you think of this dealer? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think that's an OK price, not a great one, but OK - in my opinion. If neither side is willing to budge, then perhaps he's willing to toss in some extras.

There was another thread on here about the kinds of extras folks have gotten their dealers to add to the deal.

If it helps, we're in a new-to-us, but-lightly-used 2016 31FK.
A slide topper would be nice - but we're doing fine without it.

We had the slide topper installed on ours when we bought it new last year. I believe it was around $300 installed, but I do not have the bill of sale in front of me. It works great, does not affect the inside space at all, and now that we have it I think it is great. Don't have to worry about limbs and pine cones getting stuck up there when camping and jamming up in the mechanism.
