There are ways to determine if you are getting power to the motor, but that is over my paygrade. Maybe someone can help with checking that. If no 12V to the slide motor when the switch is pushed, check the switch to see if you're getting power to the switch. If no and no then its most likely a fuse. My first step would be to replace the fuse like another suggested.

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. It is not a fuse, it is not a switch, it is the slide out motor. The MH is at the dealer's service department, where it has been for almost two weeks.
My question is, what is a reasonable amount of time it should take for parts to come in (motor for slide and parts for awning that broke back in June)??
