slides not functioning

I winterized the Rv and when I want to put the two rear slides back in...nothing. No sound no motor turning nothing. Then i checked the main slide and nothing as well. Both fuse are fine but the rear slide fuse sparks on one side when putting it back in place and there is no voltage on either leg of the main slide fuse. Any ideas?

I had one slide stick in on me. I could hear a click sound from under the bed (the relay) but nothing else. Turned out to be a fuse was blown under the middle of the slide accessed underneath the slide.

This is all 3 slides so trying to figure out what is common to all three!

If I can't figure it out I will try to manually get them in and take it to the dealer as it had to go there anyway.

Your battery must have a good charge in order to have the slides work properly. It is my understanding it will not function properly just on shore power.

Did you remove the battery for winter or is it fully charged?

Mike, ignition switch must be OFF contrary to what it says in the manual. I discovered that by reading the owners manual and following instructions…slides would not deploy.

The dealer sent a tech out today and determined one of the motors failed. So they ordered two replacement motors (for the same side so they both are the same) and will come back out and install. They also manually pushed in the slides so I thought that was good of them to do all of that.

Sounds like a REALLY good dealer! We had the same issue... forgot to turn the key from accessory (we were listening to the radio) to off... Duh! Did I feel dumb... I went ahead and started the engine (so it wouldn't strain the battery), and brought the slides in.

Two or three at a time go with us, the rest wait at home for the next trip. Having a couple with us makes for a great security system! lol

Can I ask who your dealer is near Cincinnati... is it Coleraine RV? Am trying to find a good dealer and was considering buying from them but not sure yet... thanks.

Since this an old thread I'll chime in. Colerain is the Cincy dealer, I've been buying from them since 1977.

I am looking to buy mine from Colerain in Dayton. Has anyone dealt with them before. Good / bad experiences?
