Stone/Bug Guard for 2016 Greyhawk

Has anyone put a bug deflector on the front end of their 2016 Greyhawk? I would like to put one on our 2016 31Fk for two reasons: 1) To protect the hood from chip damage and help with big splats 2) Looks.

I can't seem to find any deflectors for 2016 E450s. Looks like the styling hasn't changed for some time, so I wanted to see what ones people have ordered and how they like them (ease of install, fitment, etc.)

Thanks for your advice!

I installed one of these on our 2016 31FS E450 last week:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

No problems with the fit or finish. The installation instructions were a perfect match to my 2016 chassis. I've had the same brand on my 2500HD truck for several years and it has held up well, so I selected it for the MH without hesitation.

Just ordered one from Amazon. Thanks for the link. I also had that brand on a GMC Pickup and never had any problems with it.

Our dealer wants to put a chemical coat on the windshield of our 2015 Seneca (scheduled to pick it up on 3/23)... they haven't told us the price tag yet, but we're considering doing it. Windshield+

Anyone else try this stuff out? XzilonĀ® Molecular Adhesion

Thanks Montana! The truck isn't listed on the Amazon "make sure it fits" list...I was sooo confused! I think I'll get this for my husband!

Ordered the shield and installed it yesterday from the link provided by MontanaBBQ. Install took about 30 minutes. Thanks again for the link.

Does this eliminate or reduce stones or bugs hitting the the windshield. Other than easy to install and how pretty it looks on the vehicle is there any PROOF that this works making it worth the investment?

I have a couple of rock chips in the hood that is now covered by the shield. If I would of had it installed, I wouldn't have them.

Angry

I second Tom's response. I have a couple chips in the area that is now protected by the guard. This will also help with reducing some bug splats since the guard disrupts the air flow slightly in front of the windshield. The reason I got it was 1) stone chipping protection and 2) it looks good.

I'm torn on the whole bug guard thing. Got a friend who swears they've prevented rock chips in their windshield. I'm skeptical - but I've got a lot more chips than he does!

Nonetheless, I'd think the Over Cab Fiberglass cap would totally mess with the wind flow and just makes me more skeptical that it could prevent a rock chip in the windshield.

But, I'll freely admit to never dragging a motorhome into a wind tunnel for testing!
