Taming Slide Out Topper Noise

We stay down on the gulf coast often which means we have a lot of wind. The wife is a light sleeper and the popping of the slide out topper. Has anyone found a fix to taming the slide out topper noise?

Not that I have heard. Our toppers on the fifth wheel flap around a bit. Not sure what a person would do.

If you can get a canvas or similar strap large enough to cover the slide and both sides you can secure it with a bungie cord on one end and straight on the other end. It should keep the flapping down and will cause less abrasive damage than a rope. A single lightly tensioned bungie shouldn't stretch the topper fabric either.

I have seen people inflate beach balls under the sllide toppers to keep them from bellying and holding water. I always thought it was too much trouble, but if you sit in one place a lot, they worked.
