Does anyone have expierience towing a Ford Explorer Sport 4WD with auto trans.?
We purchased a 2011 31DS last February, and would like to start towing our Sport. I know it has to have a neutral on/off switch for the transfer case, which our local Ford dealer can install.
Any comments or advice? Thank you.
My first TT was a Cruiser FunFinder I tried to tow with a Explorer Sport. I did not feel safe with such a short wheelbase felt like the front wheels where coming off the road. The dealer had told me that towing the Crusier would not be a problem, after 1 very short trip less than 10 miles roundtrip I traded for a Ford F-150.
