Tripping over Shoes !

Ok, I know I'm not the only one who gets upset when you leave or open the door to your RV only to see all the shoes on the floor. I got tired of almost falling down each time I came in or wanted to leave the RV. (Especially with the grand kids.)

So, the DW and I went to Walmart and Beds Baths and Beyond on a quest to find a shoe slot holder/organizer and not spend a whole bunch of money.

We found one that was under $20 bucks at Walmart and fits our needs perfectly !

Nice. Our solution is a shoe bucket. We have a large bin with a snap on lid that gets put outside upon arrival, it's only purpose is to store extra footwear. Everyone is allowed 1 pair of shoes out of the bin, all others are stored inside it.

On a week long trip it is not unusual for 4 Psuedo-Adults (I am a child at heart ) to have 12 pairs of shoes with us. There is no room to store all of them indoors, particularily when several of them belong to a teenage boy... Who wants that smell in the RV

Love the hanging rack but that won't work for us. I like the shoe bin idea. We usually leave the crocs and flip flops outside and put the shoes that can't get wet stacked by the door inside.
