Upgrades to 2013 SENECA

Jayco is now using 22.5 tires on the SENECA the original units came with the 19.5. They have also added air-ride suspension to the rear axle.

Wife and I checked out a couple of 2012 Senecas in Los Vegas. We still like the floor plan in our 35GS better. The only RV we would trade for is a QX390 Embark. Anyways, msrp was over $200k on the 2012 Senecas. The dealer said the 2013 will come with air brakes and air suspension. Yes, 12s and 13s have 22.5" wheels. Dealer said he expects the 2013s to be $10k more at least. Still nice rvs but too steep for me.

A local dealer earlier this year had a new 2011 for 145. It was the first one I had been in. I suspect even at that price there is room to come down. I like the freightliner upgrade. I also think my wife would be more willing to drive compared to driving a motorhome. The only thing that is diss appointing is the floor plans. I like the floor plan that has the tv hung on the outside wall of the bathroom with a couch across from it.
