Is the USB port on the dashboard supposed to provide 12 Volt power supply?
Thanks

I hope not.

USB voltage it 5V.

Not sure if that's what you're asking.
But 5V with somewhere between 1A and maybe 2.1A.

I am not getting anything from the usb port. Phone doesn't even acknowledge it's plugged in.

I had one go out in a car and it was a warranty item. Not sure, but I think that would be part of the chassis warranty.

In the meanwhile you may have to get a cig lighter charger.

Mark is the usb port Jayco installed? On our Seneca I know of 3 places to check for blown fuses. Behind the drivers seat there are a couple of fuse boxes there to check, and then open the hood and look on top of the drivers fender/wheel well there is one small fuse box. The last place to look would be a little to the left of the one on the fender/wheel well.

Some of the other Seneca owners may know of other places to check for fuses.

I was looking through the schematics earlier on DTNAConnect for my Seneca, they show a 10 amp fuse for the cigar lighter.

good luck

To further complicate this, there are 2 USB ports in theatre seating and they don't work either. Not a big deal but it would be convenient.

Mark you might want to check the fuses located in your power distribution box (120v ac and 12v ) . Not sure where yours is located our is on the side of our master bed.

Yeah, I am sure it is covered but I am very reluctant to have them tear apart my RV to find a bad connection or something similar.

Have you tested the ports with a lower-powered device? Some phones and tablets need to see a certain amperage to charge. If those ports are 1.0 amps and your device wants 2.1, that could be an issue. Most devices in that scenario will just indicate "slow charge", but you never know.
