Stan, that would be normal if you don't have all the air out ALL the lines. The pump shuts off when it reaches a predetermined pressure in the line (pressure switch). If you have any air in the lines the pump is trying to compress that air to reach the pressure shutoff point. They don't function very well as air compressors. Bleeding the air out at every use point will solve the problem. (Hot water too, need to get all the air out of the hot water tank). Don't forget outside showers, etc... Everyone forgets about those. Any air in any of the lines will cause what your seeing. I would guess after winterizing this last time you may have one line with some air still in it.
