Norty1, sorry to hear of your problems. Are you going to be in Georgia for the Georgia Mountain Fall Festival? We love the Hiawassee and Blairsville area of North Georgia, especially during the Fall. What campground will you be at in Hiawassee??? We really like River Bend.
Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July.

The Cascade loop in Washington state Hwy. 20 to the Methow river, into Idaho Heyden state park, back down into Burbank, WA on the Columbia river then home on the Puget sound, 922 miles. Great trip, lots of nice sites.

Thinking about checking out west Florida. Feeling like some merciless heat and gulf coast shrimp!

Kim, would love to hear back from you when you get back from your Alaska trip. We are in the planning stages of doing that trip ourselves next June. As for this year, a quick 3-day trip to San Diego, a short 2-3 day trip to Zion, and a two plus week trip to Wyoming, Montana, & Idaho in mid-September.

Parmanc, that would be great. A new post that can be shared with everyone who has made the trek and those planning on doing the Alaska run. Thank you.
