Camping World has two variations of a wrap-around windshield cover; one is solid, and the other has a "window" you can expose during the day. We have the solid for our Melbourne and find it keeps the sun and heat out better than anything else we've tried. Cost is around $50.

Flytyer2 is correct. I have looked several places for F450 windshield covers and the solid one from Camping World looks like a very good one. Was suppose to get my 2012 Melbourne 29d in July BUT the factory says now middle of August-maybe!

Know the feeling on delivery. We finally got our 29D two months after date we were first given. Been worth the wait though.

Thanks
Good to see another Melbourne owner. Was beginning to feel I was the only one out here.

Most of the dealers have them or can order them. For mine we needed to order them because of the mirrors installed. we have the one that has sections that you can roll down to get air and last weekend it kept us nice and coom in an open field in the sun. No air conditioner needed. they look good and install easy. Price was around $50.00

Cover
We bought the cover from Camping World that opens up. We like the cover but not sure we would ever open the windows. It's leather and fits like a glove. Only problem is you have to air it out or it will mildew. Many times, we have to lay it out on the ground when we get home before packing it away.

Cover
When you are out on the road in the hot summer and use the cover, does it help in keeping the cabin cooler?

On the road means that we are out and about traveling in the the Greyhawk, included in that statement "out on the road" means that we are parked and that one would assume being parked you would use the covers and not while driving. Just to clear up any type of implied misunderstanding.

I broke down and got the cover from Arizona RV Parts. It was a little expensive but I like the color (brown) to match the mh paint. Got the 85% uv protection screen. Great thing is you can see out during the day but not in.
Looks great on the mh.

Tom,
Did you have to drill holes and attach snap fasteners? Or does it attach with magnets or something else?

The wind shield wipers on down the bottom. The side windows have a strap that fits around the top of the door. The bottom side window has a magnet.
Also has a wrap around for the E450 side mirrows.
Fits real snug.
We had a pretty big rain and wind storm the other day. Screen did not move. Was surprized.

I purchased the white wrap-around fitted cover for the E450 from Camping World and then I had a vinyl-lined curtain made with the similar Nutmeg color fabric that snaps right across the back of the cab area below the TV and cabinets on my 2011 Melbourne and between the two it keeps the heat out of the coach living area. I will eventually post some pictures of it!

I have been looking for a wraparound windshield cover for our 2016 Jayco Redhawk. I can't find one that says it fits a Ford 2016. Any suggestions?
