Wineguard in motion

We have recently purchased a 2011 Jayco Greyhawk 31fs RV. The unit came with a wineguard in motion satellite system. We have had Bell come in and install a receiver. All seemed to work fine until we went camping this weekend. The satellite doesn't seem to stay on signal. It will hold a signal for about 15 minutes and then drop off. The satellite will eventually re adjust itself after about 5 minutes. The signal strength is around 80 percent when working and it drops off to about 63 percent when it adjusts itself. It doesn't seem to want to lock on..
There are some trees around here and was wondering if that might effect it from holding on to the satellite
Any ideas

I was leaving the in motion switch on.....once the sat locks on....turn it off.
Makes sense...just never thought of it initially...
