Here is what I found: But am concerned about residual water in the pump or in a hose.

The simplest procedure that works best with all washer/dryer combos, is to simply drain all the water from the machine and turn off the water supply at the spigot for the washer fresh water inlet. If there is no shut-off valve dedicated to the washer, it is best to have one installed.

Leaving the machine completely void of water and isolated from the rest of the fresh water system will enable you to use RV anti-freeze in the remainder of the system,

Can you list the steps you took to drain your washer or did you just run the pump in it a few extra times?

Knowing how washing machines are built (I've repaired and failed to repair a few), I'd recommend getting RV antifreeze into the machine during the regular winterizing.

The inlet valves have pockets where water can settle. The hoses don't run straight up-and-down. Plus there is usually some water left behind in the tub and/or waste pump.

My brand new Splendide recommends running antifreeze through it, and they also have a procedure to return it to normal service. I believe I downloaded it from their website.

On smartphone now, can attach it later when I have laptop if needed.
