Cabinet to drawer mod

I put this over on the Starcraft forum too. We have a huge cabinet underneath the oven, it is more than 2 feet deep. My wife keeps the pots, pans and other cooking gear there. It seems that every time you need something out of the cabinet, it is at the very back. You have to get down on your hands and knee's and unload the cabinet and reach to the very back for what you want. Royal pain in the butt. I built a drawer to fit in the cabinet, it ended up being 24" deep, 18" wide, and 12" tall. Pretty good size for all the cooking gear. I then installed brackets (the hardest part as I had figure out how to fasten the inner ends to the cabinet by making some wood blocks). Screwed the door to the front of the cabinet and relocated the handle. Works great, lots of room and no more laying on the floor to get something!

Nice mod. If our Eagle did not already have that, I would be putting it in effect.

Nice mod. Our Odyssey has one of those useless flip out sponge trays in that location. Did you build the drawer box or buy it?

I built it with left over cabinet material & side rails
that’s donated to a local ReStore that sells everything for about 1/4 of the price. The stain is from Lowes
I ended up redoing the other drawers as well.
