Sold the house and started working on the move to Idaho!

Closing happened a bit earlier then we expected so we backyard/house camped at our friends.

Installed some BAL Stabilizing Arms. I wanted them both in the rear, but the dump tank valves were on the rear drivers side. Oh well

Also installed a Ultra-Fab Phoenix electric tongue jack. Man that thing is slick, has some memory functions.

Our plan was to set out on a 10 day trip from Colorado via Wyoming and Montana for our new home in North Idaho somewhere around the 4th of July.

Installed the Electric Tongue Jack after trying out a Fastway flip. With the height on our trailer I did not feel too comfortable with the stability out the flip.

Boysen State Park

7/5/17 - Boysen State Park, WY (Lower Wind River CG).

Time to set out for our new home and take a vacation along the way from
Denver>Coeur d'Alene

Arrived around 3ish and found some sweet campsites nestled amongst the trees. As we started setting up this huge wind storm came in blowing white stuff off all the trees and stirring up the dust. Amidst the dust storm, my glasses get blown of the picnic table only for me to step on them 10 minutes later.

After the winds calm we wander around the campsite getting eaten alive by mosquitoes. I would have figured with all of that wind, they would have left town. Oh well, we had dinner inside with our dustball kiddos.

After we tucked them in for bed we lit a small fire by the banks of the river and watched the trains go by.

7/6/17 - Dead Indian Pass, WY

7/6/17 - Dead Indian Pass, WY

Our goal for the day was to make a quick stop in Cody for any last bit of shopping then spend a couple of days in the valley east of Yellowstone. We had previously been to Yellowstone, so there was no real goal to head there. Mostly I wanted (oddly enough) to pull the camper over Bear Tooth Pass.

As we started up Dead Indian Pass outside of Cody there were foreboding signs that vehicles with a total length over 40' are not allowed on Beartooth. We had a couple of other ways out if turned out to be truth. Full tanks and loaded to the gills we crossed the pass with flying colors. The transmission started to get just a bit warm as we crested the pass and we stopped for some pics.
