MaxxAir Deluxe vent fan.

We installed the MaxxAir Deluxe vent fan in our 5th wheel bathroom in 2015 and have loved it. After de-winterizing this spring, I found that the lift motor would not open the vent. Everything else worked, both with the remote and on unit controls. I called RV Products Division of Airexcel to order the motor. Despite being slightly out of warranty, they sent me a motor at no charge. Unfortunately, when the motor went south, it apparently took out the circuit board with it, at least the part that controls the motor. I called them again, and again they sent the circuit board at no charge. This fixed the problem and all is well again. I was surprised at their willingness to help and stand behind their products. I was impressed with their service.

Sometimes it worth calling the manufacturer. I called Dometic today with issue with my vent hardware. They are sending me 3 sets of all new hardware for my vent covers. Said they had a poor batch not holding up properly. Wish every manufacturer stood up to their products like that.
