What material did you use on your stove cover?

It is actually plywood. I constructed and edged the cover. The wife painted the it a color as close as she could find to match the counter. She added the white random marble vein look and then we covered it with a few coats of poly. We like the added space it gives us to stack things there while camped and it is removable if for some reason need to use the stove.
