1996 3030rk Designer with black tank leak

Hey everyone, I have had my trailer for a few months now and have noticed a crack in the black water tank. The PO did say there was a small crack that was repaired (not well). My question is does anyone know of a way to look up the tank dimentions, so I can order a new one? I am new to the 5th wheel world and it seems you can just look up part numbers like cars and motorcycles. I live hours from my camper and wanted to pre order before removing the tank any help would be awesome.

If you call (or E-mail) Jayco with the VIN #, they should be able to provide the info you need. Hope you're successful getting it repaired/replaced. Not a whole lot worse than a leaky black tank!

I had to replace a cracked black tank in a 1998 Jayco and will warn you that it is a MISERABLE experience. Any dealer should be able to order you a replacement tank that will work just fine. It took me about 1/2 a day to do it, and I swore I would burn the darn thing to the ground before I even replaced another one. Whatever you do, make sure you flush it with as much fresh water as you possibly can before you get started. Good luck....
