1st Issue

Ok, so I have my 1st issue. Plugged into the CG power, setup and noticed the 2 front LED lights are on and I can't turn them off? Outside switch now doesn't turn the awing lights on either. I install the LED dimmer a few weeks ago and when that was installed it only controlled the awning lights. It had no effect on the front lights. But the camper switch still worked fine. Guess I'll have to remove the control panel and poke around inside. The LED dimmer remote still works on the awning lights though, but now it works whether the camper switch is on or off.
Weird!

Took me a while to find the switches for the nose LED's, but mine are on the underside of the bedroom floor, right by the pinbox. As for the awning and step LED's, what I've figured out with them, so far, is that if you turn them on with the switch, you need to control them and turn them off with the switch. If you turn them on with the remote, then it seems that only the remote will turn them off......

I'll check mine out today when I am setup at camp. I have the dimmer switch too. I will let you know.

Did you ever bypass the dimmer for the fronts? I remember the nest of wires you posted.

Scott, I never went back in to look at adding a 2nd switch just for the front lights. I'll have to look to see if there is already a separate switch for them.

Fire, do you have a 29.5? I can't find a switch that controls the front LED's.

Scott, my dimmer has no control on the front lights, does yours?

I think I figured it out. When I first set up camp my 30 amp breaker tripped when I had the water heater on and the AC on together. I guess when you first turn on the water heater it draws a lot of amperage. Once I reset the breaker I watch the water heater change from 26 amp draw in about five minutes down to 17 amp draw. Then I could turn AC together with no issues. I think when the breaker tripped it did something to the front LED lights. I disconnected my 30 amp service. I opened the master switch panel and disconnected both cables going to the exterior light switch but the front LEDs still stayed on. Then I shut off power using the battery disconnect switch. Of course the front LED lights went out. Once I turned the battery disconnect switch back on the front LED lights stayed out. Now the lights work as normal again using the exterior light switch.
Weird

Another option when you first set up camp is using the water heater off propane and the AC together. Once you have hot water you can go back to using the electric water heater.
Just more lessons learned I guess.
