I had the second AC added to our 28.5 HT since it had the prep package already. It's not that much more $$$ and really worth it down here in the Texas heat. I would suggest going ahead and ordering the second AC.

If you are going to spend time in the south, you will need it.

If you are questioning it, get it. It will add what $20 to your payment, but to buy and install it would be $1500, minimum. I don't want to add to your payment, but I think this would be worth it, resale, too

I would get it now when ordering. Cheaper, 2 year warranty, factory installed, you will have a backup if other unit fails, very nice to have the option of two AC's on those hot days.

Not only for the South. Our 2nd unit helps remove the extreme humidity we get up here in the North!

Better to have it and not need it, then to need it and not have it. I had to add a second A/C to my unit after the previous owner "made do" with a single unit in San Antonio. Yeah...right. A single A/C will NOT keep up with the heat gain when sitting in the sun.

To quote my Grandfather about many things. "When in doubt, whoop it out"

If you are camping south of the Masson-Dixon line, you will need it.

I want to thank everyone for their replies. Guess I'll go with the second unit. Do the 2 units work with 30 amp service or do we need 50?

If you only run one AC you can get by with 30, but you will need 50 to run both.

I have a 2015 28.5 RTS and looking to get a carport for it. I can find how tall it is with one AC but how tall is it with the second one?

We ordered our 330RSTS 8/16 and still do not have a build date. So can you tell us about your new 330? We need to know the good and bad. Thanks
