20 below zero

Can't speak for the rest of you, but even at 20 below zero, I'd rather be camping.

I have lived in Minnesota almost all of my life and there is no way I would go camping when it is 20 below zero. Yes, I would rather be camping then dressing in 5 layers of clothes only to go outside and get the mail, but I will wait until Mother's Day weekend to begin our camping season.

Gosh! In California we are known for our fires, floods, and earthquakes.... but on a day like it was today (70's), I'd gladly risk the impending quake rather than have to deal with that yucky white stuff some of you keep mentioning lately !

Actually, I lived in the snow *once* when I spent a Winter stationed in Munich Germany (Army). Man! That was some cooooold cold! But the fun I had playing 'ambush' snow balls fight with my fellows.... awwww what fun! THEN.... that beautiful white fun stuff turned to yucky salt and pepper slush! and slipping on the ice walking down the sidewalk in a hurry.... !? OMG. Yup, think I'll risk the fire/floods/quake and stay where it's jes a little bit warmer in the Winter!

BTW- Just wunderin'... do folks in the snow bound regions really become good at bowling? Are there really more babies born from Sept-Nov in snowy regions?

Actually.... you guys are funny!

You should post a poll in the Campfire forum. "If it meant you got to camp, who would camp in the freezing cold!"
