2009 Jayco Eagle 355fbhs

Howdy all!
We are new to this forum, but not new to camping. We currently own a 2011 Jayco Baja 14F highwall toyhauler popup. We are looking to take longer trips with more 1 night stop overs, so the popup is turning out to be more work than we bargained for. We just purchased a Chevy 3500 DRW diesel monster and are interested in getting opinions regarding the model in the title. We found one within a few hours drive and it looks to be a great floorplan for our needs. We have 3 daughters, ages 15, 13, and 10, so definitely need enough sleeping room. Any comments regarding the Eagle line or that particular model would be great (355FBHS). The unit we are looking at comes equipped with the Onan 5500 watt gas generator, but it appears the gas tank sits next to the generator in the front compartment? Has anyone run into issues with this setup? We would love to have an onboard generator because we do camp at forest service campgrounds with no utilities. We would love to stay shorter in length, but with 5 people and a chubby camping dog, we need all the room we can get :-) Thanks in advance for your help and opinions!
