We bought this 5er two weeks ago. We have found that it is difficult to open and close the hide-a-bed and in fact the metal "arms" have worn the sofa's urethane down to the black backing fabric. Has anyone else out there had this problem and has anyone any suggestions on what we can do to prevent the problem getting worse. The Dealer gave us a 30 day warranty but refuses to cover/help with this problem.

I have a 2010 Designer and I full time so this bed has been used a lot for guests. I can't visualize the problem you are having. Can you provide a picture or two?
