Does anyone know if the bedroom vent (front) is wired for a 12 volt vent fan? I took the shroud off the vent and looked around in the insulation, but did not see any wiring at all. Didn't poke around under the insulation very much, as not to disturb it. Was hoping to install a fan to pull hot air out when to A/C available. Thanks!

We had a fan installed when we bought our trailer so I know it can be done. I like it. Our fan has a remote so I don't have to get up to adjust it, there is a glow under the trim that at night can be seen through the plastic, bothers the DW but not me.
Contact Jayco and see if they can send you the wiring diagram for your trailer.

You might check to see if it was wired for a second AC. If so, you should be able to do the job. Otherwise, you might have to fish a wire from your overhead light to run the vent. I would assume that it can be done by a fairly competent person, which I am not.

Thanks for the responses. I didn't have my email notification on, so I never saw the responses. My DW would also hate the glow. I will investigate further. Don't think it was factory wired for a second AC. Warranty is about or is over so I will ask the factory for wiring diagram.

You can tap into the wires on a nearby ceiling light. Fantastic brand fans are very quiet and move a lot of air. They do not use a lot of amperage to run. They do not have any sort of light that might disturb you. I just installed one on our 26BHS. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yes, Fantastic vents are the way to go. The vent is right over the bed so noise and any lights would be a concern. Fantastic vents meet both concerns. I may just install it in the bathroom where there is already a noisy power vent. Leave the bathroom door open as not to pull odors from the tank. That way it will pull cool air into the front vent. Not a concern when hooked to power.
