2013 JAYCO HT 26.5 is 3" nose high.
I can't lower the hitch because the pinbox will hit the bed sides when turning sharp, so I guess I'm looking at installing a sub frame to raise the rv.
I should have known going to a lighter weight 5th wheel that it would sit lower for 1/2 ton trucks, and my 3/4 ram is pretty tall.
Thanks for any advice.

Actually the newer 1/2 tons are taller than my 05 3/4 ton. So, I think this is a problem even with 1/2 ton TVs.

Have you flipped the axles already?

My dealer installed a "lift kit", rather than flipping the axles on mine the day I picked it up. They said they do it a lot to fit the newer trucks.

Yes axles have springs on top from the factory. I've also read where a lot 1/2 tons are having this problem too. I think Jayco dropped the ball on this one, since the first step is 1" off the ground. I'm going to look at a lift kit too if it's 3" or under needed. It's been raining for 3 days here, so I'm just waiting to do some measurements.

I may need to go to a slider now since the corners on this rv are not angled, but just pulling it home was so much better than my last 5th wheel at 11k.

Can you share which lift kit did you use? How high did you lift it and how does you trailer perform on the road?

I don't remember you'd mention the length of your truck bed. Is it a regular short bed or a super short bed?

Its a short bed, and I moved the B&W back 2" to the last setting. Looks like it may be ok, but will have to be careful on tight turns.

I forgot to post on this forum the finished install of Correct Track, and Ez Flex, plus 2" billet aluminum blocks.

Looks very nice Gary. Have you towed with the new set-up yet? I'm looking to compare notes when we tow ours in a few weeks.
