Enjoy you new Pinnacle, nice 5th wheel for a first 5er.

I am sure there will be many new things learned on our first trip with your new Pinnacle.

Congrats on your new pinnacle . We purchased one last fall and have put over 5,000 miles on it already . The only issue we had was on the two hanging lights the thumb screw came loose and they swung together and broke . When I replaced them I used locktite I really don't see a purpose for them except looks. Also the ceiling fan globe comes loose . I used green loctite on this so I could still take off and change the bulb . You may not have a problem depending on the miles driven and roads . The hanging lights are about $65 each . Other than that we love the rig pulls great

Congrats on your new Pinnacle....luv ours.

Like Rob said you'll find out more about you're particular rig when you get out and start using all the features availabele. Bring any questions you have back here...if you have any.

We got our new Pinnacle in April and have been out 3 times. Each time I learn something new.

You will enjoy your new trailer and welcome to the Jayco family.

There is always an answer to any question you might have.

Yes, I noticed that the thumb screw is loose on one of mine. Thanks for the tips.

It's a good idea to check the lug nuts WITH A TORQUE WENCH every few hundred miles for a while. I have found the ones on my 2014 Pinnacle to have a few lug nuts slightly loose on several occasions. The nuts on aluminum wheels shouldn't be reefed down as tight as you can possibly get them like you can with steel wheels.

Good idea. Do you know how many pounds to torque?

Detailed directions are in the Dexter service manual. If you have 16 in wheels they should be tightened in 3 stages. 1st -20-25, 2nd -50-60, 3rd 90-120.
Check the bolt sequence of tightening.

Make sure you get some good wheel chocks for hooking and unhooking. Does use the yellow plastic things from Camping World. I learned the hard way!
Have fun and enjoy.

I like the solid rubber chocks from Harbor Freight little over $6. Each and heavy duty

We have had our Pinnacle for almost two years, enjoying ours. Currently living in ours (sold our house to or son and haven't decided what our next step is) working out well. A few small issues but pretty rock solid. I have looked at the new 2015's some sweet upgrades.

So far I just have wood chocks I made myself. Worked well so far (cheap). I just arrived home from a trip to Branson, MO. All went well except I should have taken that tool box out sooner. Need a band-aid.

We took ours to Alaska and back last summer.
Enjoy yours as much as we enjoy ours!

silveradoboomer, do you have the bedroom A/C? We are looking at the 2015 Pinnacle and wonder how noisy the bedroom A/C is. Is your Chevy a dually?
Do you have the residential frig? I've seen a post talking about running the battery down after 1 night of dry camping.
